Street Photography

I’ve always found street photography very interesting and have admired it from a far throughout my time as a photographer. I like the unpredictability of it, you’re not sure what subjects/characters you’ll find on a journey. I also liked looking at photographs with a compelling story to them, they left you feeling some sort of emotion and wanting to ask questions.

After graduating from university back in 2022, I wanted to create another project that I could work on in my own time, so I decided to create the ‘A Day in’ series back in February 2023. This series is about travelling to cities/places and exploring the different cultures and architectures within them while also finding interesting stories to tell. This is something I wanted to start nationally in the UK, before expanding out internationally.

Since I’ve started this project back in February 2023, I had been to numerous places, which has been fantastic and have enjoyed every trip. In fact in August 2023 I decided to invest in a GoPro Hero 11 Black, as I’ve wanted to film POV video footage of each trip, creating Reels & YouTube videos for followers and people who just have an interest.
